Danuta Tydor has been working with clay medium since 1997. Her work is primarily sculptural, decorative and occasionally functional. She uses hand-built technique involving pinch, coil or slab.  Porcelain is Danuta's favourite medium, although sometimes she works with stoneware and earthenware as well. Majority of her work is abstract in nature with strong personal narrative and touch of humour with an element of surprise.

In recent years her interest focused on shoe sculpture series, reflective of social status, passion, beauty, diversity and human activity.  Danuta's artistic life is a continuous quest of self discovery, always in the pursuit of new beginnings. Working with Clay is a source of inspiration, which enriches her life and possibly the life of others.  Her work has been awarded numerous times by various organizations,

including OCC Award for Best Design in 2005 & 2008 at WPW Annual Earthborn Juried Competitions.  Danuta Tydor's residence and studio, which she shares with her life partner, Vlodek Tydor - Clay Artist himself is located in Wallenstein, Ontario.
