Summer 2026 - Handbuilding for Adults with Theresa - Wednesday Evenings

Class size: 6 - 9 students
Class Description: Through this in-person class at the Waterloo Potter's Workshop, students will learn the basics of handbuilding, including: pinch pots, coil, slab, slump and hump molds, and joining. Students will also start exploring surface design through texture and glazing. No prior experience with clay is required!
Full Schedule: This course runs for six weeks of making, followed by a week off for firing, then a glazing class, and finally a session to pick up and review your work.

Note: The second class of the session will take place on Thursday July 2 instead of Wednesday, to avoid the Canada Day holiday. If you aren’t able to make this time, please consider registering for a different class.
Cancellation Policy: We understand that plans can change! If you cancel more than a week before the course begins, we’ll issue you a refund (minus a $25 cancellation fee). If you need to cancel within a week of the start date, we’re only able to offer a refund if we can fill your spot before the first class. Please note that due to the small size of our studio, we aren't able to offer makeup sessions or refunds for missed classes.
