Land Acknowledgement

The Waterloo Potters Workshop understands that our facility is on the traditional territory of the Chonnonton, Anishnaabeg, and Haudenosaunee peoples, on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that include six miles on each side of the Grand River. As beneficiaries of this land, we have a responsibility to acknowledge and understand its history and the current experiences of First Nations peoples with whom we share this land today.
