Coiled Vase & Wedging Clay

Make the base with a puki bisque mold and start adding coils

To make a vase, add more coils and set aside to harden while making the neck as a separate piece
Join the neck to the body of the pot
Wedging clay makes it homogeneous and free of air pockets.
Wedging must be done on a stable surface. If your table wobbles, try wedging on a counter top or even a chest freezer instead.

Making coils!
Use texture and coloured slip to decorate the pot
