Required materials:
4 leather hard mugs/cylinders
A bag of soft to medium soft clay
scoring tool
small paint brush
plastic sheet for wrapping your pots
Description: This class will be a "hands on" approach to making handles for mugs or jugs. We will cover 4 different ways to make handles and how to securely attach a handle to avoid cracking/breaking. Students should bring 4 leather hard mugs (or cylinders) to practice on.
