In the first 6 weeks of this class, we will work on 2-3 sculptures using 3 different building techniques. Come prepared with some ideas/concepts you would like to work on but be ready to let go if needed!
Please bring some clean clay bags.
Firings and clay are not included in the course cost but can be shared and arranged jointly.
In the last 2 classes, you will learn about different decorating techniques by using coloured slips. We will paint, layer, decorate and use paper resist.
Also, bring your scissors, a pencil and some paintbrushes. Slips and underglazes and some commercial glazes will be available. You may also bring your own glaze.
