This continuing handbuilding class will expand your range of handbuilding techniques. Create sculptural pieces & explore surface decorating techniques.
The course is structured as a hybrid class where half of the class will be in the studio with the instructor and the other half will be working remotely from the comfort of their own home studio. Please indicate your preference below in the registration section.
Included in the cost of the course is the glazing and firing of your pots. Students will need to deliver ‘greenware’ to the Waterloo Potters’ Workshop for firing. You will have a choice of two base glazes and two additional glazes for the rims of your pieces. More information and examples will be provided at the start of class.
Your instructor is Eekta Trienekens, an enthusiastic teacher who loves sharing the amazing things you can do with clay.
As a student, you, too, will be part of this exciting project offering your insights and experience as part of the project. Once you complete the courses, along with the evaluation, you will be given a $100 rebate.
