Online Pottery Courses
Are you looking for a pottery class and interested in learning in your own home, or in the studio participating with others working from home?
The e-Clay Project is working with a team of teachers and eight Ontario pottery guilds to develop ways to teach online, interactive pottery courses, and Waterloo Potters’ Workshop is one of the participating guilds.
There are two pilot courses being offered through the Waterloo Potters’ Workshop starting in February 2023:
Each course has eight classes. All teachers are experienced and are part of a team developing the best ways to teach pottery online in interactive and dynamic ways. As a student, you, too, will be part of this exciting project offering your insights and experience as part of the project. Once you complete the courses, along with the evaluation, you are eligible for a $100 rebate.

- Wheel II (e-Clay) is an online wheel course for those who have taken Wheel I, or have some experience throwing.
- Handbuilding (e-Clay) is a hybrid structure with half of the students learning in-person at the workshop and half learning online at home. It is open to all levels of experience.
